In the past few days, we have been implementing a new solution that will ultimately make the site faster and more stable. However, due to the complexity of our infrastructure, it turned out that we needed to tune that solution before it would give the expected results. This has caused multiple slowdowns and "FetLife is Currently Unavailable" occurrences, in particular over the last weekend and today. Now we have completed most of the tuning and although we don't see the improvements yet, the performance and availability should now be like before. We are very sorry for the issues!
